There are many artists producing work in the county and a growing number in the new A&E district.  This may be the time for artists to move from out-of-the-way settings, into the A&E District to take advantage of the state tax benefits available to in-district artists.  As Oakland leads the way, artists will naturally gravitate to where commerce and collaboration is happening. The Gallery Shop, in Oakland, is a great place to browse and shop for these artists' wares.
